Steven Musick is a man who almost died after having a severe allergic reaction to the swine flu vaccine several years ago. It’s a story that changed Musick’s life forever while he was in the Navy. In his new book, “Life After Heaven: How My Time in Heaven Can Transform Your Life on Earth”, Musick explains his experience that changed his perspective on life.
Musick describes that in order to be deployed, you have to get vaccinated all the time against certain diseases that you might come across. He was given the swine flu vaccine and had a dangerous allergic reaction that left him sick for months. Feeling terrible for several months, a nurse tried to give Musick an antidote. When this was given, his reaction was even more severe and it became life-threatening. After fainting in the emergency room due to receiving a lethal amount of an allergen, Musick was in a coma for five weeks.
The author states that he visited heaven during this time, and he has written the book in order to share his journey.
Musick has written in detail about this five-week period. He talks about the sights, sounds and the discussions he had with Christ. He explains heaven as the feeling of being in pure joy, unlike anything he has ever experienced on Earth. He writes that it’s a constant feeling, and that it feels like, “being absolutely held tight and yet totally free at the same time.” He stated that although you can feel the same joy on Earth sometimes, it is a constant, overwhelming feeling of joy you never want to leave in heaven.
Musick describes what he saw while in heaven in avid detail. He claims that it was like watching “HD on steroids”, the colors so vivid and the environment simply breathtaking. He talks about beautiful mountains of the most incredible shades, fields and of being outdoors in nature. The richness was in the beauty of nature that was simply everywhere.
While Musick’s description of heaven has captivated his audience, it is his interactions with Jesus that have been of the most interest to his followers and Christian’s throughout the world today. He explains in his book that he and Jesus walked arm-in-arm, and that he was able to have conversations with Him.
Musick describes Jesus as a male around 30 with long brown hair, hazel eyes and dark skin. He stated that Jesus is not large, but built like a weightlifter. In their conversations, Jesus told Musick that he couldn’t stay in heaven. Right after that conversation, Musick woke up in the hospital with the realization that he was back on Earth.
He claims that coming back to Earth left him feeling almost delusional. Waking up after five weeks in a coma left him stunned, he wasn’t sure what to think about his experiences. Jesus told him to leave heaven, and he woke up within minutes after this conversation.
It took Musick years to recover from his injuries. He was disabled for a number of years, but was able to recover and begin sharing his story.
While Musick knows that he was not expected to wake up from the coma, it was Jesus that told him it was not his time to stay in heaven. He was upset that he couldn’t stay, but he knows that there is a reason he is still here on Earth. He has told his story in an eloquent way, and he hopes to reach others who are on their journey to find God.
Musick has written his book to share his experiences of heaven and of talking with Jesus in an effort to bring joy to those who are suffering in the world. He knows that it can be hard to believe stories of near death experiences, but he has faith that those that believe will find happiness and hope in the story that he has to tell.
